The decanters are made in blown glass. I have used bright transparent colours. Each decanter has a stopper in a complementing transparent colour. Where the glass overlaps, a third colour appears.

Karen Nyholm followed a design and glass education since 1998. She attended Engelsholm Kunsthøjskole and Braband glasskole in 1998/1999. In 2000 she worked in the studio of Steffen Dam and Micha Karlslund. She completed her degrees at Glas & Keramikskolen på Bornholm from 1999 to 2002 and the  Pilchuck Glass School, U.S.A. in 2003. Since 2006 she established the "Nyholm-Cantrell" Glasstudio at DK-Aarhus together with her husband, the glass artist Ned Cantrell. The moved the studio to Ebeltoft in 2014.
